Metals

You can Buy Gold Krugerrands as an investment with sites like www.usgoldbureau.com

not just gold, they trade in silver and other precious metals, all of which have proved to be a good investment recently.

Take silver: low supply and high demand has helped to push up price. The supply isn't not likely to increase which means silver is set to stay a good investment.

Take gold: during times of recession people tend to turn to gold as an investment instead of things like property and stocks.

Timing is also an important factor when it comes to investment and now may be the perfect time. So check the website above and see what you think about a metal investment.

No Trousers Day in Taiwan

Isn't it just typical. In Taiwan, a group of 20 girls travelled on the subway in their knickers as part of 'No Trousers Day', but a month after the event.

Even when they don't have to get fully dressed women still take ages to get ready.

The annual No Trousers Day took place in January in a number of world cities, including London and New York. Taiwan only just got round to doing it.

Actually, they're the clever ones. Who goes round in just their pants during the coldest month of the year? As a bloke, the cold wouldn't flatter. In fact, I'd only join the No Trouser Day is I'd just been bitten down there by a spider and was suffering swelling.

Clever Sheep

New research says sheep are far more intelligent than previously thought.

Either that or GCSEs have got a lot easier.

In the old days scientists only thought sheep could count up to 3 (Source: Bar Bar Black Sheep, how many bags full) but researchers at the University of Cambridge have discovered that the animals are much brighter.

They found the sheep can adapt to changing situations and map out their surroundings.

They're covered in wool and they can adapt. That makes them sounds like pensioners... apart from the adapting bit.

Maritime Help

If you have been injured in an maritime-related incident and you think you may have a legal case for compensation you could be better off looking to Offshore Injury Lawyers. Have a look at Schechter, McElwee, Shaffer & Harris' website by clicking the link. They have been in business for over 4 decades and that means they have experience of helping a lot of people.

They have worked with seamen, tankermen, longshoremen... all types of crewmen, so they could help you too.

If an injury affects your ability to work, seeking compensation might be the only way you can keep you head above water, financially speaking. It is certainly worth investigating more.

Being British

I think I lived through the perfect example of what it means to be British the other day. I was in a coffee shop (which is often the case), enjoying the coffee. Well, enjoying the free WiFi more but that doesn't paint me in a good light.

As I sat there I heard some women in the far corner scream. I looked over and worked out that they were freaking out because there was a mouse in the coffee shop. One woman ran over to where I was sat and got on the highest stool she could find.

The mouse ran out, things got back to normal and then a homesless drunk came in and started shouting at people. And this is the moment I realised that if there's a mouse people scream, if there's a nutter we all go quiet. Now that's being British.
