Crestor

Have you heard of Crestor? It was a prescription drug, also known by the name AstraZeneca. It was produced as a drug to deal with high cholesterol, which if left untreated, cholesterol can lead to cardiovascular disease. So, it was prescribed to make people's hearts better.

Sadly, since then Crestor has been linked to certain side effects, such as damage to the heart, damage to the fibres and potentially heart failure.

Obviously there is no price you can put on health but if you have been affected by this drugs there is a legal option. To look for compensation in a Crestor lawsuit click the link to find out more.

Accident

I went to a coffee shop yesterday during market day. As I went in there was nothing outside the coffee shop. While I was in there someone set up this gazebo right outside the exit. All of about 3 feet away from the door...

Gazebo just outside Nero says "Have you had an accident?... on Twitpic

And do you know what it said on the banner that was on the gazebo? "Have you had an accident?"

I nearly did, because some prat had put a gazebo in my way!

Tut! Some people, eh?

Best Soap

EastEnders has been crowned Best Soap.

Bad news for Imperial Leather. Imperial... ah, never mind!

Enders scooped 5 prizes at the Inside Soap Awards in London last night, including Best Actress for Jessie Wallace.

Jessie Wallace? I preferred her when she was in that double act with Gromit.

Coronation Street won the Outstanding Achievement award for the explosive tram crash and live episode with which the soap celebrated its 50th anniversary.

I think the most outstanding thing about that show was the cat in the old opening credits. That cat had been alive for about 40 years! They've cured ageing!

A Time For Beauty

Have you heard of the Regency Beauty Institute? It's the start of a chain of events that makes the world a better place. Let me go through it.

The institute is the fastest growing beauty school in the US. From just 2 schools it now has over 80 places of learning. So, it teaches people how to treat people and make them look better. Looking better makes people feel better about themselves. When people feel better about themselves they're more optimistic, which leads to greater productivity, and feeling good about yourself also means you tend to treat other people better.

So, some people learn how to do beauty treatments and a few steps later down the path of logic lots of people have slightly nicer lives. And it's those little improvements that make all the difference.

See www.regencybeauty.com to find out more about this Cosmetology school.

A new survey says kids these days don't know the basic tasks we all learned as we were growing up. Only one in five of youngsters said they could tie a reef knot.

I never learned to tie one, to be honest. And I can say this, I have got through life without the need.

Maybe I'm just lucky. In earlier generations if you couldn't tie a good knot you couldn't just use a bit of glue or Blue tack, depending on how long you wanted it to last.

And thanks to No More Nails, I really don't need to be able to use nails either.

Guy In Coffee Shop

As you may well know, I spend a lot of time in coffee shops. I often sit there and drink while people watching, which is a great way to pass the time. But I also like to do work there. I sit with the laptop in front of me, tapping into the free WiFi while I type my thoughts.

But today the tables were turned. I was sat there reading when I guy turned up, got his laptop out, and started working. But that guy was mouthing the words as he typed the emails on his laptop.

He can't type without speaking. Jeez, if he tried to chew & walk at the same time he'd have a stroke.
