I woke today and say the ultimate in clichés.
"Today is the first day of the rest of my life."
What a motivating sentence. Yes, a new start, and it all starts here. From this point on I'll stop being the professional procrastinator. I'll be organised and focussed and I'll achieve all of the things I have wanted to achieve. It's the new me. There's no denying it.
And then I realised.
"But tomorrow would also be the first day of the rest of my life."
Yeah, good point. I'll do it tomorrow.

Have you ever dabbled with Twitter? It's the place to be if you want to get into social media. It's important to get the right username. And while you can change your username (or Twitter handle as it is sometimes called) you want to start off with the right one in case someone else takes that and you have to go without.
It's like when Gmail came out. If you didn't get your name early you were doomed to spending the rest of your days telling people you email address with all the numbers and underscores you had to use.
"Yeah, my email is Michael underscore Baxter 1625, where the I in Michael is a 1."
Twitter has been around for a while now, so a lot of the good names have gone. And that's why I was shocked that someone recently got @porn. It's the home of TwitterPorn, which is an area where there's a lot of proliferation. There are probably thousands of adult twitter accounts now. Women posting pictures of themselves nude, blokes aggregating they're favourite pictures, but to have that Twitter username is like being the original. It's like the bad guy in the last season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
And as of writing this, that account only has made 272 tweets. I'm sure that'll increase, as there's plenty for them to tweet about. If people who have a Twitter account to mainly tweet about what a nice cup of tea they have just had, or to retweet the jpegs of quotes from someone else's Tumblr, I'm sure a Twitter account that has the username that represents everything rude can find something to talk about.
And of course, it's finally helps to answer the question, is it art or is it porn. If it's on that Twitter account it's porn. If it's on the @art account it's art. The modern world is such a simpler place.

I have some good news in the world of sport. Well, competitive board-game playing.
