MP's expenses may go back to being a closely guarded secret.

And they announced this news as life was found on Mars, there was a plane crash into a river, and we have a massive recession. Way to bury news!

Ministers get to rule this week that they don't have to publish details of their spending.

I think that's OK, as long as I don't have to give details of my spending to the Government. When I have to fill in my self-assessment form I'll put all the tax-deductible stuff under "Other" and see how they like it.
