Cinema Laws

I went to see The A-Team film today. It's a Wednesday so I got the tickets on the cheap.

It was a great film, lots of fun and nothing too serious. It's just what you expected it would be. Recently I saw Remember Me so it was nice to watch another film that wasn't filled with mood and bitterness (and lot's of depression).

On the way into the cinema we were stopped and had our bags searched. Can they do that? Really! We hear in the news that the police might lose their ability to stop and search. They're the police and they soon will not have the right to look in your bag without good reason, but some spotty-faced gimpoid working for the Cineworld can insist on seeing what you have with you.

We also hear that the police may lose the right to hold someone for 28 days without prosecution. Don't worry, I'm sure they can trap you in a cinema for that long. If you go to see a Kevin Costner film you'll be in there for at least that long.
