Grants

We all know that education is a good thing but it can be really expensive. It's one of those "you have to speculate to accumulate" situations but if you don't have the money in the first place it is really hard to afford the education that will let you earn more.

There are grants available but it can be hard to understand all the details of how you get one. That's when the college pell grants website collegepellgrant.org is useful.

It has sections like the 'acronyms' section that goes through the jargon and phrases that can make the system hard to understand. There is the "5 steps" section that guides you through the stages of getting a grant. The "FAQs" section can fill in the blanks that you, and many other people, have had.

If you are a member of the military there may be grants that you can get, again the collegepellgrant.org site has a section that will help you work out what you have the right to get. It's not just down to your situation, your parents' financial situation could also make a difference to your grant eligibility. The "Am I a dependent" section can go through that for you.

It's a great site, but it's humble, as it also has a "useful sites" section that points you in the direction of other sites that have information that could help you.

So, if you would like to know more about grants this is certainly a good place to start.
